As the holidays wind to a close and employees start returning to work, news finally has begun to crop up regarding our favorite time-sucking hobby.

It seems that patch 2.4 is more done than not, which means you guilds stuck on Kael'thas and Vashj don't have much more time left to catch up.

Blizzard has also decided to start an official podcast (thanks to Blizzplant) that will cover all things Blizzard (Starcraft 2, Wrath of the Lich King, and two heretofore unannounced games!) The first podcast will be audio only, but with time it should include video. From what Blizzplanet tells us, it seems we should be hearing more from Mr. Tigole, the lead designer of WoW, about patch 2.4. Whether or not this is just a rehash of the information from the recently discovered magazine interview or some further details about what we can expect in both the 5 and 25man dungeons has yet to be determined. You can expect to feast your ears on this sometime in January.

On a more fun note, the inclusion of the Clockwork Rocket Bot has led to utter chaos on my server. Rockets are flying everywhere, with priests coming out on top more often than not thanks to the ability to buff your pet with Power Word: Fortitude and Power Word: Shield (for real fun, try a Reflective Shield). Do any of you faithful readers have any epic Clockwork combat tales to tell, or did your server give up before it even began?
