Our leaders have years of MMO experience including raid leadership in Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft but have experienced games from the guild member perspective as well. We are laid-back, down-to-earth players who like to have fun but also know how to get down to business when the moment calls. Our members understand the importance of respect and how to work as a team.
Currently, we are accepting any class or level, however, once the foundation of our guild is established, we will be limiting initiates in order to maintain good class balance.
Our tentative raid schedule will be:
7-10pm PST Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Serenity's player city is located in Potain, Instance 15 on the South side of the zone.
A little more about me - I am 34 years old and play with my wife (Sabin). I love raiding, but I strongly disagree with the way most end game raiding guilds are run. I believe that the primary factors in a guild's raiding success are A) Finding good people that are able to work together, B) Organization and C) Consistency. Most hardcore raiding guilds spend far more time raiding than we will, but our ambitions are just as high. We plan on spending more time preparing and organizing for raids with less time trying to brute force our way through content via endless wiping. We all have a life outside of AOC, there is no reason it cannot be balanced with playing the game while still experiencing all that the game has to offer. We are not interested in recruiting people who will burn out in a month because they are playing 80 hours a week while their RL goes to hell. We are building our guild for the long haul and are looking for players whose philosophies reflect that.
