Apprentice Posts: 1 Joined: 21 May 2008 | Just got this game today. My computer meets the minimal requirements (though i need to buff up my processor, and maybe my video card later on). Tried to install it, by my computer doesnt even recognize the DVD (thinks there is no CD inside). Its an HP DVD 740i.During the past few months ive been having alot of problems with it (wont recognize any blank CD's), so im thinking its probably best to get a new dvd rom player (as i am tired of messing with this thing). I was hoping that maybe any of you could point me in the right direction and give me a suggestion for which new DVD rom i should get to be able to install this game (or a way to fix the problem with my current one). Also, if you have a better suggestion for a processor, i could use that info too.
Basic Specs:
2GB Ram
8500 GT Nvidia Geforce (512 mb)
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, MMX,3D Now,~2.2 GHZ
OS:Windows XP SP 2
and a 740b HP DVDWriter Rom |
